  1. I've been looking for this too. And the shortcuts didn't work for me. But now I found my way how I open the Emoji keyboard on my Surface Pro3. So for those who are in the EU and you want to access the Emoji keyboard, this is how I do it: rightclick on the Windows taskbar & choose: SHOW TOUCH KEYBOARD BUTTON. Now you can see the keyboard button on your taskbar. From there you can click on the smiley button and you can choose your Windows 10 emoji's in any app you wanna use. Hope this helps.

  2. Just to clarify, the text cursor must be visible and Windows must be waiting for user input in order for the Emoji keyboard to appear. For example, open Notepad then once Windows is waiting for you to type something, press Win+. or Win+; to display the Emoji Keyboard. 😊

  3. Love this new feature, but there needs to be an option to keep the picker up and let you use multiple emoji without having to press the shortcut again. Anyone figure out a way to do this?

  4. Someone else wrote this, I'm just helping you guys out 🙂
Right click your taskbar and select Show touch keyboard button (if it isn’t already ticked). This will place a new keyboard icon within your taskbar’s notification area. Click this new icon and a keyboard will appear on your screen. On this keyboard, next to space and Ctrl, you’ll see a smiling face. Click this to access the emoji selection.

  5. Not working in Norway. Scandinavian keyboard but the key shortcuts is in the same place i'm sure,so looks like you need some work on this. In the meantime I'm back to something that works,I'll check back to see if you make this functional. It's a good idea. But so many others that does the same thing. Good luck on your project 🙂
