Atom v0.130.0 text editor on Ubuntu linux (Linter plugin for c++)
Atom is a free open-source text and source code editor for Mac OS X, GNU/Linux, and Windows with support for plug-ins written in Node.js, and embedded Git Control, developed by GitHub. Most of the extending packages have free software licenses and are community-built and maintained. Atom is based on Chromium and written in C++. It is used also as an IDE.

  1. It's getting quite good but of course it will take a bit longer to catch up with Sublime – you cant expect it to be as good when sublime has been around for years but I am hoping it will get there soon.
