After reviewing the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro with a massive 13″ display and Android KitKat as operating system it is now time to take a look at the 10 inch version of the tablet running Windows 8.1. The Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows features a 10″ full hd display, an 8 megapixel camera and a huge battery with a capacity of 9600mAh. During my time with the tablet I was very impressed with the great battery life, amazing screen and surprisingly good bluetooth keyboard.

  1. A WARNING regarding the Lenovo product and after service. Recently I purchased a Lenovo 3 tab (not the pro) and I picked it up one day to use it, only to find an image on the screen of shattered glass and lines racing up and down. I took it into Office Works where I purchased it and they said that I had dropped it and it was not covered by its warranty. I argued that I had not dropped it but to no avail. They gave me a contact for Lenovo. I called the number and was asked to take a picture of the screen and send it. I did this and they too accused me of dropping it. Realising that I didn't have a leg to stand on, I asked them how much it would cost to replace a new screen. It took them 3 weeks and several more calls from me to finally get back with a quote to repair my tab = $610.00. I had only paid $316. When I called them back and complained that the quote was ludicrous, they emailed me another address to contact that supplied the spare parts. I called them and was told that no screens were available and wouldn't be in the foreseeable future. I contacted Lenovo again to let them know and they have just ignored me or having anything else to do with my problem. I have since done some research on Google and discovered that other people have been let down by their poor after-service. Now I am left with a 6 week old tab that's of no use. The only thing good to come out of this is to warn others and hope that they do not suffer the same.

  2. Is it possible to run typical 3D modeling software such as Rhino3D on this? I ask since you have mentioned that it can run Photoshop and other such software. Also, can one attach a mouse? Thanks!

  3. Great review.

I am considering this as an affordable tablet to replace my first gen Acer Switch 10.

Was looking into this or the Toshiba Click 10.

    Do you still use this?

  4. You did a great review of a superb piece of hardware. I bought it mainly for reading ebooks, but I find myself using it for so much more.
After the update to windows 10 it feels even a tad faster and the interface is much more usable. I can only recommend it. The screen is perfect, the stand makes it stand out of the crowd and is great if you chose to read a book, because the round base (housing the battery) doubles as a nice way to hold it vertically.
I would recommend a decent screen protector glass though, and I got myself a cover from Amazon to protect the corners and the screen while traveling.

  5. A better review: This machine is a piece of crap. I returned mine after having it about 8 hours. The keyboard would not initialize. It's crap, the worst crap, and the customer service is worse. The only reason to buy one of these is to throw it out a window from a really tall building where it lands into shredder.

Save your cash this is a horrible machine

  6. This is for me. Was bought a Samsung Tab 4 10" for xmas, but it has a couple of minor issues with screen flicker at low brightness and an annoying SD card error issue. It was bought from Tesco and they are now selling the Lenovo Yoga for same price. It seems to excel the Tab4 in every way, so hopefully I will get this one soon.

  7. I'm a college student and I'd like to know if which computer is the best for me. I've few choices. The Microsoft Surface 3, Surface Pro 3 and the Lenovo Yoga 2.
I have to do some school works on it using excel, PowerPoint etc. Sometimes, Photoshop may be needed.
I only have limited budget. I want to know if the Microsoft Surface 3 or the Yoga 2 can handle my work. For the Surface Pro 3, I may choose the i5, 128gb version. Which of them is better for me? Thank you.

  8. H. Hi could you tell me that if i can use micro usb to hdmi display out on this 8" tablet? As There is no MHL support? As dell venue pro 8 and other 8" tablets work with those adaptersIs it works with this one as well? Thanks.

  9. Is anybody experiencing a weak wifi signal? Unless I'm near my router, the wifi connection is horrible. I can't even be upstairs, directly above the router, without the Yoga losing a few bars. It's quite frustrating. The internet slows to a crawl, and similar to the reviewer, I had over 100 updates to install. You can imagine how that went with the bad wifi reception.

  10. helo! is it possible to install pc's desktop apps in this tablet (google chrome -mozilla firefox-utorrent-office in desktop …..) is it possible to connect usb devices by data cable …..can it replace computer …lot of thanks
