UPDATE ***READ THIS BEFORE YOU TRY***: For some reason, copying & pasting from the YouTube details does not work for all systems. Either it flat-out fails or Windows creates an extra “-” (hyphen) symbol in the code between the 4 & 3 in the last bit of the code. If you can’t get it to work by copying and pasting, type out the code by hand and it should work just fine.

MANUALLY TYPE the following line into a Word doc or Notepad .txt file:…

  1. Interesting little back door config utility, probably meant for MS test team to change settings without going through the mountainous depth that is windows. Even internal Microsoft developers think it's too bloated to use.

  2. for the people that cant get it to work remove that extra hyphen  on the last bit of  code works fine once it is removed GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} code should be like this NOT this  GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-9971204-3E01C}

  3. Control c does not work …made new folder … tried control v …nothing happens… renamed a folder as instructed and I have a blank folder with a weird name

  4. It should work in Win 8.1 I know it works on Win 8.0, but I don't have an 8.1 to try it on yet. However, I just went to a Microsoft blog and they say it does work, same code. Type in the code by hand as there is sometimes a problem with copy/paste between the browser and the OS. See the video details section for more information.

  5. You are using Win 7 or 8 right? If it's just not working with copy/paste, just right click on the desktop, new file, then type in the code manually. I just did that on my desktop reading the code from your comment and it worked. For some reason, copying from the web browser screws it up on some systems.

  6. copied it form the discription pasted it to a new file name got rid of the hyphen… empity file. then copied it, pasted it to a blank notepad page, an got rid of the hyphen and copied it from that a new folder name and still got an empity file named GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}. i dont get it!!!!!

  7. Glad you got it working, there's some quirk in the OS that is adding that extra "-" when it is copied from YouTube's details. I'm going to go in and put a note in the description about this.

  8. Windows operating system sometimes adds an extra "-" between the 4 and 3 in the last few digits of the code (some quirk in the OS). You have to make sure it pastes into the new directory correctly. I think it's some problem with a copying from the web (YouTube details). Try typing the line of code exactly as it appears directly into the new file name or into a new text doc and it will work.
