  1. Quick question, once I get Server 14.04 up and running in RAID, can I then upgrade it to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Desktop? Preferably MATE? I'm not interested in Server, just full Ubuntu MATE 16.04 LTS however if we have to use Server then that is what we have to do.

I have two Samsung 840 Pro's and I want to RAID0 them. Then I have three identical SSD's I want to RAID into one large disk for a Storage drive. 5 total disks on the Intel ICH10R which has 6 sata ports. Would all this be too difficult?

  2. great video nice and clear to follow through everything runs well up to the grub loader, I'm installing 14:04 on a HP ProLiant MicroServer Gen8 with a Dynamic Smart Array Controller just wont boot at the end…. or goes into a grub menu which isn't very helpful or user friendly.. any ideas?
