  1. When I click on the system tray and right-click over my own home wifi network and right-click over that, there is no "view properties" option.  I get "forget this network" "set as a metered connection" and "show data usage."  The password to my wifi was recently changed.  I need to update so that my laptop will connect to it.  I have also tried going to the Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network and Sharing Center and my home wifi doesn't appear under Active Networks so I can update the password.  What can I do?  Please help.

  2. I think Microsoft assumes that we are all morons because with each revision it becomes harder and harder to access anything that allows you to alter or find things about the system.

  3. none of this psycho-babble works. I had NONE of these options in my 8.1. I had to right click then choose forget this network, then it asked me for the password to reconnect. that is the ONLY way I could get to my network password.
Misro-croft, backing up since Office 2003 and XP. When you positively have to kill production, use Microsoft, The assassins of productivity.
