  1. Like your approach… however…. can't get ahci to work on the Version:
    Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family… in Windows XP….I get a Page fault from the iaStor.sys file… BSOD….  Theres no ahci file for xp from AsRock
    for the z77 Extreme 4 MOBO… They simply say.. XP doesn't support it…

  3. hi there, i wounder how do i rearrange iso images so they include the files befor burn ? because you can't load the files from the "boot disc" or can you ?

  4. You can:
    1. use external USB FLOPPY drive.
    2. rearrange ISO image to include files already in before burn CD.
    3. build dedicated ISO using tools like BartPE
    4. or just disable AHCI in BIOS – back to native IDE/compatible mode due AHCI mode doesn't show big performance improvement.
