How to install low latency kernel on ubuntu [english cc available]

For install low latency kernel:
[after command press enter, then type password if need]
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install linux-lowlatency linux-headers-lowlatency
-and reboot your system

For install Grub customizer:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install grub-customizer
-then run grub customizer
the highest kernel in “advanced option for ubuntu system” is your default kernel. Reboot after changes.



  1. Hi! sorry to bother you off topic but i really need some advice. I installed Ubuntu on my dell chromebook via Crouton but i didnt get Firefox.. so now i cant access the internet.. anyway to get firefox? maybe via USB? if so please make a video or write a detailed guide as im pretty new to this.. guaranteed subscriber if you fix this for me<3
