In this tutorial I show how to install OBS, Open Broadcasting Software, on Ubuntu 17.04. Enjoy!

Commands used:
sudo apt-get install ffmpeg
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:obsproject/obs-studio
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install obs-studio

  1. I get this when executing the last step: The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    obs-studio : Depends: libfdk-aac1 (>= 0.1.4) but it is not installable
    E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
