I installed sql server 2008 on Windows 10 and its running Ok as of now. But during installation, I got a message from windows saying "Sql server 2008 isn't compatible with this windows". However, I proceeded and it was installed successfully. Will I get any problem later because of this? I need to connect to it for database of my .net Project. Please Reply
Hi I am able to install this on my windows 10 and able to access Sql server 2008 successfully for the database component. However I am unable to access SSIS or SSRS – could you please share some thoughts on this to fix this issue pls?
Thanks for the video on how to install SQL Server 2008 Express. I was getting nowhere trying to run Management Studio after installing Express 2016 and all the so called help was no use whatsoever. So i used your video to install the 2008 version and all is well! Many thanks again.
This is why I bang my head against the wall with this industry. The whole thing is intelligently put together – gotta give credit – but at the start of the vid he's like "Well, this might not ACTUALLY work with Windows 10." Seriously? What's the point of the video then?? Am I the only one not scared to ask the question?
I have a question , when I try make a database restore from a backup of SQL Server 2008 R2 in another PC with Windows 7 to my SQL Server 2008 Express (the same on this video) in Windows 10 Pro, it gave me an error, seem be a incompatibility version. Any idea for solve this error. Thanks. Sorry for my bad english.
