Make sure the game is installed in full, including all DLCs before you do this.
1- Start the Fallout 3 Launcher. In the graphic settings, remove ALL anti-aliases.
3- Start the game, stay in the MAIN MENU.
4- Press Ctrl-Alt-Del access the Task Manager.
5- In the Processes Tab, Right click Fallout3 on the list.

  1. can anyone confirm that this works for the GOTY edition on Steam? Im running an i7-3960K (6 core/12 thread) with an Nvidia GTX 980 and it keeps crashing every 3 minutes or so of gameplay

  2. in no way im blaming you which 100 percent really i not but screw you Bethesda and this insult includes the crappy ending for fallout 3 and 4 compare 1 2 something else and New Vegas now i have to wait more maybe years to play this on pc

  3. I was planning on downloading this game (cuz my retro gaming mode kicked in) .. but I got windows 7 64bit .. So I just stopped downloading it .. Sad ~ 😿

  4. If all of this doesn't still work, verify your game cache then it might work, I did all of this but it didn't work and then I tried verifying, it says that I had missing files so I verify, after verifying it worked. note: I did all of this then I verify
