Author, teacher, and talk show host Robert McMillen shows you how to setup a VPN connection in Windows 10

  1. So are we saying the vnp server we install (ex: ultrasurf) will not work unless we connect the server to the "Built in vpn client" in windows 10??. BTW, my internet service is dis-connect will this method still work?

  2. Not working to me. Throw me the message "the network connection between your computer and the vpn server was interrupted. This can be caused by a problem in the vpn transmission and is commonly the result of internet latency or simply that your vpn server has reached capacity. Please try to reconnect to the vpn server. If this problem persists, contact the vpn administrator and analyze quality of network connectivity.". What can i do?

  3. This VPN service “kanat unique one” (Google it) gets a superb ranking from me. I have been utilizing it for 6 months now. I had problem loading it many times before but I had been able fix it with the help of their online assistance. The activation of the software program is straightforward and I didn`t have trouble with connecting. What a wonderful service! You should utilize it too.

  4. I have a Public IP on Win 10, I created a VPN Connection and able to connect remotely (The connection shows 'Connected' through PPTP). The Client was assigned an IP Address, but unable to use the shared folder or any other resources. What am I missing here??

  5. I dont understand the "server name or adress" part. If i want to surf the net hidden what do i put in there? Like i dont want to just connect to a certain server or adress, but surf the net in general. Thank you.

  6. so i'm in university and the wifi is probably not super secure with thousands of students on it so what type of vpn can i set up on my laptop to keep my files safe, yes i already have a firewall, but just in case i wanna encrypt what i'm doing when i deal with my submissions and financials

  7. What am I missing. I have a home PC – CHECK I have Windows 10 PRO – CHECK I have high speed Xfinity – CHECK I add VPN on the blue screen and choose Built In – CHECK Made my address my PC name or hostname instead of an address – CHECK Chose Automatic, and since it says username and password (Optional ) Why does it still ask me for a Username and pass if it's optional???? Does not make sense. Please fill in the blanks

  8. Is it the same Username and Password For my computer? I'm so lost, I followed your instructions down to the letter but ended up with no good results. Honestly, I don't know what to do at this point, can't i just download something so I can auto-connect? Like 'SuperVPN' on the Android mobile phone? If so, anyone For suggestions? If so, its greatly appreciated.

  9. How do I find a VPN to use? Also in the network settings I saw that you didn't have the Wi-Fi option either, any idea on how I could fix that?
