  1. Heyy i watched your video but i can't get the command to show me the list as it shows up in yours in 2.43 ..

I'm using firefox though an putting this command in the terminal

    "sudo nano /usr/share/applications/firefox-web-browser.desktop"

It takes me to an empty editor

    P.s. I'm using 17.04

  2. Great video, thanks.

I think you can preserve these modifications by copying the chromium.desktop or google-chrome.desktop file to $HOME/.local/share/applications/google-chrome.desktop. I believe the local desktop shortcut will override the system one.

  3. Thanks, it worked!

EDIT: For a moment it did, but it came back after enabling some material design stuff in flags.
Tried resetting everything to defaults and editing Chrome again but no, flickering won't go.

My laptop is Dell Inspiron N5110 with i3 and AMD HD 7400m. I had Ubuntu 14.04 before 16.04 and it worked without problems. Maybe reinstalling Chrome would work but I'm too lazy for that.

  4. i have this kind of issue with google chrome, but i don't have chromium installed, i need to install this to follow this guide? what is the connection between chromium and G Chrome in this ? Thank you
