  1. Setting my nw connection as metered worked for me. Just disable the automatic updates from services.msc… windows periodically automates the windows update thing.. keep checking every 15/20 days…

  2. With wushowhide.diagcab you can prevent particular updates from installing. This will prevent win update to overwrite drivers of outdated devices! And it does not work all the time, my working graphics driver has been overwritten with bullshit.

  3. When you disable automatic updates from services on Windows 10 Home, the next time you boot your pc up, the pc turns them back on to automatic!!!!!!!! Utterly infuriating!!!!!!! THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN THEM OFF COMPLETELY on Windows 10 Home! Fact!!!!

  4. Thanks for the video! I had to run gpedit.msc to launch the group policy editor. I didn't have that option under management console, not sure why. I am running Windows 10 pro.Anyway, thanks, I read about what is updated in the 'Creators Update', and I don't use any of the features (Cortana, Edge, etc.). I really wish Microsoft would make this more obvious. For weeks I have had to say 'Remind me later to the privacy warning about the coming update, but no where on the warning does it give you the option 'I like the version I purchased, I want to keep what I paid for.'
