Short tutorial on how to use the `screen` command on unix systems. Screen allows you to open a new “screen” within a shell. You can detach and reattach to that screen. This is important if you would like to SSH into a machine, start a job that will take time to process, then come back later and still have that job running if your SSH connection dropped.

screen can be installed on Rasbian or Ubuntu using:
sudo apt-get install screen

screen should come pre-installed on OS X.
