sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wine1.7

    and i was already trying to install windows software.
    but as soon as i can find the software for linux, windows software will be going bye bye

  3. Can someone help me… Im new to linux and idk how to work it very well… So i go to the software center and try to download something…. It starts then stops… No matter what i do it wont install any ideas why? (I have tryed both my routers snd ethernet nothing works)

  4. First of all, thank you for this tutorial. Its all good.. But there is a problem for me.. When i try launch any .exe file trough Wine.. I got "NSIS Error" – Error launching installer. Do you maybe know what is problem? If you can please reply. Thanks!

  5. it didnt work. heres the error:
    E: Type 'ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa' is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list
    E: The list of sources could not be read.
