SAMBA is a Linux server that allows you to create Windows Shares on your Linux machines and mount them within Windows. If you have Linux and Windows machines together on the same network, you may well find this a very useful server to install.

Please note: I do not cover security in this video. I cannot say whether or not the configuration that I go over is “Internet safe”, that is whether you should expose your SAMBA server to the open internet or not using this configuration. I will err…
