That's bullshit. Unity launcher is still there, consuming resources and taking minimization targets to the left instead of bottom. Way to go might be downloading Unity plugin sources and stripping launcher away from them, then compile with another plugin name
I am using Ubuntu trusty 14.04 and i am getting some difficulties. when i try to install slingscold and the indecatier synapse, it says that they do not exist. Also, i downloaded the unity tweak tool and it does not show up anywhere. lastly, when i change the theme for the top of windows, but it just turns blue and nothing else.

Help me, after installing everything works fine, except maximizing windows. For example, if I maximize my browser firefox, I see the background, and I can click on it and select things on that part of the background. The part of the screen where no browser is, is also the part where the normal dock from ubuntu is, which hides automatically. Can someone help me, I don't know how to solve.
