  1. If you're like me and using a keyboard with AltGr,ย  You'll soon realise that the Alt Meta Key Commands don't work when you need to enter AltGr key sequences (M-$ for example). However, you can use the ESC key to perform the same thing so ESC-(AltGr 4) nets you the same function as M-$. I hope someone finds this useful!

  2. 1. Why cuss? Making sure kids can't learn from you?
    2. Why are you using a terminal that messes up half of the standard keyboard shortcuts? It makes the tutorial worthless.
    3. The "house" is indeed called a caret.
