A simple script for using ‘recordmydesktop’ in Ubuntu Linux, command line mode.

recordMyDesktop Man Page:

recordmydesktop –x=100 –channels 2 –freq 44100 –width 1280 –height 720 –follow-mouse –no-frame -o /home/midfingr/Videos/720.ogv


  1. @gotbletu Yes. It still cuts off 10 pixels. So in my case it's 1920×1070 (roughly) when capturing. And the weird thing is the Y goes to 4 pixels …
