  1. Hi there Kris,

I just wanted to say thank you for this, I had exhausted pretty much everything to try get this working on my readyNAS drive including multiple guides on the official site that gave me error after error

This has got me up and working after many hours of messing around, so a big thumbs up from me

the only thing I could add is adding sickrage to the default bootup to save you from starting it up manually each time ( sudo update-rc.d sickrage defaults ) this is based on other guide's and I take no credit for this though 🙂

  2. Hi there, I tried and failed. I've installed it on OpenMediaVault which is running debian squeeze, and I'm getting this when trying to run sickrage

    root@openmediavault:/etc/default# sudo service sickrage start
SickBeard: Can't read settings, aborting. See /etc/default/csickrage … (warning).

    please advise.ta
