This was done on a cheap Acer Aspire E-11 for anybody who is interested. I picked it up as a spare as it has great battery life (7-8 hours) so great for taking with you if you’re going out for the day.

The Workspace switcher & window spread can both be enabled easily using the Unity Tweak tool you can find in the software centre. The Desktop Wall (The one where you see me dragging the Windows across virtual screens) can be enabled via the Compizconfig Settings Manager which you will also…
