Ubuntu 17.04 – Enable AMDGPU(CIK&SI) and enable Vulkan(RADV)

A quick video on blacklisting radeon and allowing AMDGPU to take over(GCN 1.0 Southern Islands and GCN 1.1 Sea Islands).
The latest Ubuntu kernel has AMDGPU support enabled by default, we just need to blacklist radeon.

[ sudo nano /etc/default/grub ]
Go to the end of the first CMD line. After [ splash ] type blacklist=radeon and press control+x, then press Y & Enter to save and exit.
Now update grub.
[ sudo update-grub2 ]
Then just reboot. If your hardware is supported you should be using…
