  1. when it says " windows cannot be installed to this disk. the selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, windows can only be installed to GPT disks" how do i convert the partition from MBR to GPT.

  2. I would remove any unused USB devices. Check the hard drive if possible. If no joy then I would remove all but one stick of RAM and see if that helps. You can always add them back in later.

  3. The Intel product information on that board gives conflicting information about EFI. The product guide says it supports the Intel® Platform Innovation Framework for extensible firmware interface but the technical spec does NOT mention it. The easiest way to check is to Restart the machine and get into the current BIOS. If you see UEFI Boot then it supports it.
