You Do Not Have Permission To Access

When you try to open a specified folder or drive, there is an error displayed as ” you don’t currently have permission to access this folder. Click continue to permanently get access to this folder “. You have been denied permission to access this folder. This tutorial will address this error and how to gain security rights to the folder or drive in question.

  1. I thought it wasn't going to work, as I received an error when trying this with the ProgramData folder, which is a hidden folder by default. But hey, it gave me access to the files I needed to modify so all is good. Thumbs up!

  2. Probably a little too late to comment but I tried this on a configuration settings type of file in the hopes of fixing the speed bug in one of my games called Saints Row II and it worked nicely. Thank you for this!
