Windows 7 Keyboard Shortcuts

This video demonstrates some of the best new keyboard shortcuts available in Windows 7.

  1. "Switch Between Windows" is a nice alternative to "ALT-Tab"

It's in the Quick Launch Folder…

For those who want to enable quick launch, make a new toolbar to this folder

    C:UsersGuestAppDataRoamingMicrosoftInternet ExplorerQuick Launch

Where "Guest" can be replaced with your user name. Then leftclick toolbar and uncheck show text/title.

Swich Between windows should have a keyboard shotcut, oh well, I'll do it manually, I guess.

  2. Win+Up: Maximize
    Win+Down: Restore / Minimize
    Win+Left: Snap to left
    Win+Right: Snap to right
    Win+Shift+Left: Jump to left monitor
    Win+Shift+Right: Jump to right monitor
Win+Home: Minimize / Restore all other windows
Win+T : Focus the first taskbar entry
    Win+Space: Peek at the desktop
Win+G: Bring gadgets to the top of the Z-order
Win+P: External display options (mirror, extend desktop, etc)
Win+X: Mobility Center (same as Vista, but still handy!)

  3. Another NEW feature!

Certain windows don't give you the option to maximize, nor will they allow you to dock on right/lef side's of the screen (by dragging to the sides)…BUT if you use WINKEY Left/Right they will dock to the sides! But you still can't maximize these windows with WinKey Up.

Unfortunatelly it won't work for Properties Box's in windows (for example), but it has worked for me in some program's where the options windows (for example) don't have the max/min buttion.

    Cool Eh?
