  1. After pressing the Enter key I don't see the "repair screen" but rather one that asks if I wanna load windows on the existing partition or a different one but not to repair. What do I do now?

  2. Dam.. I wish i would have read some of the comments below, now i have to recover the data of this hard drive because this re-installed WIndows Home instead of repairing the start up.. Thanks a lot jackass!!!

  3. If you have more than 1 partition, you can save all file data to another partition. So when you want install or clean you windows ,it will re-install Partition where old WINDOWS has been installed. So you can save them to another partition. =)

  4. Question…

I have attempted to repair twice… goin on a third…

The reason this is, is because it's not repairing properly. It tells me that some files that it needs from the CD to copy to my hard drive are missing, while I have the correct CD in.

So I had to skip those files and now when I log in, It shows me my background with no icons, task bar, start menu, ctrl alt del doesn't work, Yet I can get utility window up (Winlogo key + U).

    How can I fix this?

    Thanks
